This is our Bat Control page. Here you will find information on bat infestation and our control services. Bats are mammals that mostly hide during the day and feed during the night. They are small, rodent like vertebrates, whose principal problem with us humans is that they are vectors to many diseases.
Most common bats feed on fruit, insects, and flower nectar, but there are certain bats that feed on blood and other vertebrates. All of these species are vectors to diseases, meaning that they carry the disease in them and can transmit it to other species, like us. That is why having bats in your surroundings is a threat.
Bats naturally carry with them many pathogens, such as the rabies virus, Henipavirus, and sometimes the Ebola virus. Their way of living, which is in big groups, makes it for good conditions for the diseases to live in them. And though the diseases not always develop in them, they do develop in other beings, and contact with these animals can be enough to contract a disease, so we at Bat Control recommend you to keep away from these animals.
So don’t hesitate and if you have seen bats in your vicinity, or have found them lying near your house, contact Bat Control, and we will handle this problem, removing all the bats and properly cleaning whatever mess they have made.
